Reading "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman just now which is really quite enjoyable. nicely paced.
Finished "Mobius Dick" by Andrew Crumey which was very good. Very weirdly good. So weirdly good I bought "Sputnik Caledonia".

American Gods is excellent. Anansi boys features the trickster god, it's actually about his sons, but is played for laughs. Sort of a comic aside to AG.
Gaiman is one of my favourite authors. Try Smoke and Mirrors if you haven't already. Excellent anthology.
Both are excellent books. You might be interested in this global book group thingy - they're currently reading American Gods.
I'll be borrowing Sputnik Caledonia when you're done with it, if that's ok.
actua - already the name of several games and shady companies...
