Acoustical conundrum

After about an hour trying to trouble shoot the mysterious echo I could hear when I was listening to the BBC News channel via my computer, I gave up and went to make a cup of tea.
That's when I saw that the TV was on downstairs on the same channel...

Delay was caused by the distance travelled, hence echo. Bugger.

Mystery solved.

needless to say, everything ground to a halt :o)
