Boa Festas

The christmas lights are on here in Guimaraes and it is Pinheiro tonight. It's a shame, but I don't have a drum. I am also hoping to avoid getting horribly drunk as is the norm for people around my age for this particular festival.

Em Guimaraes

Ola world. Landed late last night and stayed in a rather bizarre hotel with porn architecture and facilities. very firm bed, lots of mirrors placed with voyeuristic intent and a massive marble double bath on a raised white platform. Nice...
Now in Guimaraes. the hotel has a fantastic view of the city and the room is very nice. Sadly, only one mirror and no jacuzzi double baths on marble plinths. Dammit!

success and failures, lists and random events

Hard pushed on the first one just now, other than I have finally organised a short return to Guimaraes, Portugal which will be nice. Been making lists of stuff and slowly chipping away at stuff. Still got to hire a car and book the front and rear end hotels, but the rest is sorted. Has up to date GPS, has Hotel em Guimaraes and has masses of enthusiasm.

Need to find some good geo caches in the area which will be really cool.

Managed to fail to convince the world of some stuff only to have the answers flood my brain 15 minutes later as I drove away. damn it.

List is some of the above maybe with buying a small hoover after finding out that I am massively allergic to cats.

Got to insulate the loft space as I've never gotten around to doing. I've bought the stuff, I'm thinking an extra layer of aluminium foil would help. I'll do the calculations and see how wrong I am.

I'm looking for a tasteful yet stylish waist coat.
